I'm a creative director and copywriter. And I come up with simple, powerful ideas for integrated campaigns.


My background is in above the line and integrated advertising, at agencies here and in Australia, including TBWA, Bates, Bozell and Masius. At the big agencies I worked on large, integrated, national campaigns. Working with planners and strategists, it was here I got to see the big picture – their canny interpretation of research, the importance of insights and how it all worked together. Fresh from design college, it was a revelation.

At the smaller, specialist agencies, I worked at the sharp end of DM, sales promotion, digital, direct response TV, eCRM, and heaps more, learning who you could reach and how to get the best out of each channel. And when I suddenly became ‘senior’, I was thrust into management. Scary at first, surprisingly I discovered I had a knack for it, ending up with a gig as a Bates CD.

However, I’m still at my best conjuring up strong, simple ideas for integrated campaigns. The work here is a small sample.
